		<description>Thanks, Ryan -- after installing a new SSD disk and some adventures in GRUB I managed to render my NTFS partition unmountable, probably by running &quot;grub-install /dev/sda1&quot; rather than /dev/sda.

Using testdisk as described above helped.</description>
